I have been putting off starting a blog for quite some time. Not sure exactly why...maybe knowing that the type of blog I wanted would mean sharing (the truth staring me right in the face) with the world scares me a bit. Whatever the reason...I am starting now.
I have been running (literally) around the world of fitness and nutrition for a long time. I have tried almost every "diet" known to mankind, jumped on every workout bandwagon under the sun, starved myself, ate myself silly, hid the scale, hopped on the scale every day...you name it. I did it. All for the sake of looking like some unattainable figure I once saw in an ad, on the tv, on the street, etc...
Over the past year I have been following a lot of blogs and health websites and there is one thing I have taken from all this input...eat healthy, move your body, lift weights, and love yourself.
So this is the type of blog I want to put out there...one that I can share my ups and downs, the ins and outs of being healthy (body, mind, spirit) and share some of the amazing resources that I have found to inspire and motivate all of us. I have some healthy changes to make and maybe you do too.
